SALARY LOAN UBL STAFF SACCO

Salary Loan

Long-Term Financing for Members
Salary loans support members with larger financial needs such as investments, property development, and personal projects.

Key Requirements
• One third of the loan must be held in savings
• Must meet UBL 70/30 payroll deduction policy
• Latest payslip required
• National ID required
• Two guarantors required
• Bank statement for the last 2 months
• Signed RBS commitment

Up to 4× savings, maximum UGX 150 Million

• 2% loan processing fee

COLLATERAL LOANS FROM UBLSTAFF SACCO

Collateral Loan

Property-Backed Financing

Collateral loans allow members to access higher financing secured by immovable property.

Key Requirements
• Property must be located in Kampala, Wakiso, or Mukono
• Valuation report required from SACCO-appointed valuer
• Applicant pays valuation costs
• Minimum 15% of loan value held in savings or shares
• Pay slip required
• 2-month bank statement required
Savings and shares used as security cannot be withdrawn during the loan period.

• Minimum 15% loan amount in savings
• Insurance cover from SACCO-approved insurer
• Standing order required for external repayment

Savings held as security cannot be withdrawn during the loan period.
